Nanometrics is committed to the management of environmental impact, health and safety to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and provide a safe and healthful workplace, while reducing our environmental footprint.
Nanometrics Personnel and Operations –
We protect the environment, and the health and safety of all Nanometrics personnel through prevention of illness, injury, and reducing environmental impact.
Continuous Improvement –
We continuously improve our environmental protection, health and safety systems and work collaboratively with suppliers and customers to deliver solutions that meet business and environmental, health, and safety objectives. We address occupational injuries and illnesses, emissions, wastes and inefficient use of resources and energy as preventable process defects.
We operate in some countries identified by stakeholders as being at high risk for incidents of child labor or forced labor. These practices are against Nanometrics’ policy. We have not identified any Nanometrics operations with significant risk for child labor or forced or compulsory labor. We conduct regular training, which also covers our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Environmental Policy -
Nanometrics will engage in environmentally conscious business operations. We will achieve this through global corporate efforts, including product design and selection of vendors who participate in similar initiatives.
